Firefly 3K Fun Run
The Firefly 3K Fun Run is a timed and virtual running event held on June 19, 2026, at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. The in person course follows the main paved road on the Arboretum East Side, passes through tree and plant collections, and goes down Frost Hill. The route is relatively flat and is well suited to runners, walkers, and wheelchair users.
A virtual option allows participants to complete the same distance at another location and log their results online. Both in person and virtual participants receive branded Firefly 3K apparel. Spectator tickets are available; they provide nighttime admission to the post race party and other activities but do not include event apparel or a race bib and do not permit participation in the walk or run.
The event takes place on Arboretum grounds at 4100 South Illinois Route 53, Lisle, IL 60532. Registration is managed separately for the in person run, the virtual race, and spectator attendance.
