Festival of the Mile

The Festival of the Mile, sponsored by Rathbones and hosted by 3D Events and Rock N Road Run Co, takes place on Sunday 19 July 2026 at the track at FB Fields, Jersey. The event raises funds for Jersey Heart Support Group and features a programme of solo and team mile races and shorter track events. Some events have age restrictions and specific entry conditions.

Event categories and distances include:

• Junior Mile – Solo (ages 6-15): 1 Mile all out plus Chase the Heart.
• Family Mile Relay – Teams of four: 4 x 400m; 2 children, 2 adults.
• Mascot 400 – Solo (18+): 400m while wearing a mascot costume.
• The Mile – Solo (16+): 1 Mile all out.
• Handicap Mile – Solo (16+): handicap based on each runner's The Mile time.
• Randalls Beer Mile – Solo (18+): 4 x 400m, beer chug required each lap; alcohol-free option.
• Triple Ticket Bundle (18+): includes adult solo mile events listed.
• Team Mile – Two-runner relay (16+): 2 x 800m.
• Team Beer Mile – Teams of two (18+): 2 x 800m with beer chug each lap.
• Team Mile – Four-runner relay (16+): 4 x 400m.
• Team Beer Mile Relay (18+): 4 x 400m with beer chug each lap.
• Team Double Ticket Bundle (18+): includes team beer and team mile relays.

Prize-giving is part of the programme. The event format requires completion of The Mile before some subsequent races where noted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
