Race for the Wild 13K
Race for the Wild is a UK Athletics licensed road race taking place on Sunday 12 July 2026. The event follows the former Durrell Challenge route, starting at Victoria Park in St Helier, passing through Jersey's green country lanes, and finishing at Jersey Zoo in Trinity.
Runners in the 13K event receive an official race bib with chip timing, an exclusive finisher medal, and free entry to Jersey Zoo on race day. The event provides bag transfer from start to finish and offers training advice and coaching support from Endurance Coaching Crew.
On-course support includes full marshalling by the Honorary Police of St Helier and Trinity and two water stations along the route. Additional water is available at the finish area.
The event has a fundraising component: five pounds from every entry plus additional funds raised are donated to Durrell's global conservation work. The 2026 fundraising target is ten thousand pounds.
There are two ticket types listed for the 13K: Standard Race Entry and Affiliated Race Entry. The Affiliated Race Entry applies only to runners affiliated through England Athletics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
