2025 Festival Foods Turkey Trot Fond du Lac
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot in Fond du Lac is an annual community event held on Thanksgiving morning. Hosted at Fond du Lac High School, the event offers multiple participation options for runners and walkers. Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5-mile run
- 2-mile walk or run
The 5-mile and 2-mile events utilize separate courses with distinct start and finish lines. Both lines are accessible via the school Commons on the North side of the campus. Participants are asked to self-seed based on pace, with faster runners at the front of the corrals and walkers or those with strollers toward the rear.
A specific Dog Jog option is available for the 2-mile course only. Participants with dogs must line up in a designated area adjacent to the start chute and will begin after all other participants have crossed the start line. For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted inside school buildings or on the 5-mile course.
The event provides attendees with a long-sleeve shirt and a personal pumpkin pie upon completion of their distance. Registration fees vary by age group, with specific pricing for adults, youth under 18, and dogs.
