Event overview
The Prevea Health Run Away to the Bay is a 55-mile spring team relay on April 11, 2026. Teams consist of 2 to 8 participants and the minimum age is 16. The event is part of the 4imprint Race Series. Each team receives a front bib for each runner, a wristband to exchange between runners, a participant shirt, a finisher medal, finish-line food and beverage, and chip timing. A mobile aid station supplies snacks and drinks to teams during the race.
Course and logistics
The race starts at Menominee Park on the shores of Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and finishes on The City Deck in Downtown Green Bay. The route heads north along the lake through Neenah and Menasha, then follows Midway Rd/Schmidt Rd through Darboy and Kaukauna. The course enters the Fox River Trail just north of Forest Junction and continues through DePere to the waterfront finish.
Teams, rules and categories
Teams must provide their own support vehicle and may arrange legs as they wish, with no formal exchange zones. Each team is supplied one slap band that must be worn while running and passed between runners. The average team pace must not exceed 12:00 min/mile. Categories include Team Relay (3-8 runners) and Pairs Relay (2 runners). Divisions include Open and Masters (40+) for Men, Women and Mixed. Top three finishers in each division receive awards at the finish line. Transfers are allowed until registration closes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
