NK50k - April 11, 2026
The NK50k is a point-to-point trail run in the Northern Kettle Moraine area near Greenbush, Wisconsin. The course follows sections of the Ice Age Trail and moves through a mix of terrain including smooth and rolling ski trails, rocky and rooty singletrack, and reaches the highest point in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest.
The event offers two distances:
- 25K
- 50K
The finish area and shelter are at Greenbush Group Camp. Transportation is provided from Greenbush Group Camp to the start locations. After the runs, food and refreshments are available at the Group Camp Shelter.
Aid and support are provided at the Group Camp shelter and at additional points on the 50K course, including access to drop bags at Mile 3.5 and Mile 25. Water is also available at multiple spots along the course, including at or near backcountry shelters. Aid station supplies include water, sports drink, Coke, Mt. Dew and assorted standard ultramarathon foods.
