NK50k is a point-to-point trail run organized by Greenbush Trail Runners in Greenbush, WI. The event offers two distances:
- 50K
- 25K
The course follows sections of the Northern Kettle Moraine Ice Age Trail and includes a mix of smooth rolling ski trails, rocky and rooty singletrack, and access to the highest point in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. The 50K is supported with aid and access to drop bags at Mile 3.5, at Mile 25, and at the finish area at Greenbush Group Camp. Additional water points are available near backcountry shelters along the route. Aid station supplies include water, sports drink, cola, and typical ultra aid station foods.
Transportation is provided from the finish location at Greenbush Group Camp to the start at Ridge Road Trailhead. After the run, food and refreshments are available at the Group Camp Shelter. The organizer notes that the event is presented as a run rather than a competitive race and that no results will be posted on UltraSignup.
