NK50k

NK50k takes place on April 3, 2027, in Greenbush, Wisconsin. The event consists of trail runs along the Northern Kettle Moraine Ice Age Trail with organized support and finish area facilities at Greenbush Group Camp.

The course is point to point, starting at the Ridge Road Trailhead and finishing at the Greenbush Group Camp Shelter. Transportation is provided from the finish to the start. Aid and access to drop bags for 50K entrants are provided at the finish and at Mile 3.5 and Mile 25, with additional water available near backcountry shelters along the route. Aid station supplies include water, sports drink, Coke, Mt. Dew and assorted typical ultra aid station foods. After the runs, food and refreshments are provided at the Group Camp Shelter.

Organizers describe the event as a run rather than a race and note that results will not be posted on UltraSignup. The trails in the Greenbush area include smooth and rolling ski trails, rocky and rooty sections of the Ice Age Trail, and access to the highest point in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest.
