The NK50k is scheduled for April 11, 2026 in Greenbush, Wisconsin. It is the 13th Annual-ish running of the event and is described as a run, not a race; no results will be posted on the event platform. Course and support
The course is a point-to-point tour of the Northern Kettle Moraine Ice Age Trail. The 50K starts at the Ridge Road Trailhead near Sunburst Ski Hill and finishes at Greenbush Group Camp. Transportation is provided from the finish to the start. Aid and drop-bag access for 50K runners is available at the Group Camp finish and at Mile 3.5 and Mile 25. Additional water is available at or near backcountry shelters along the course. Food and refreshments are provided at the finish shelter. Aid stations will include water, sports drink, Coke, Mt. Dew and assorted standard ultra aid-station foods. Trail surfaces range from smooth, rolling ski trails to rocky and rooty sections and include the highest point in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest.
