17th Annual Fawn Lake Adult and Youth Triathlons : Spotsylvania, VA
The event takes place on August 30, 2026, at Fawn Lake, 11305 Longstreet Drive, Spotsylvania, VA 22551. It includes adult, youth and relay triathlon events held within the Fawn Lake community. Organizers reported 130 volunteers supporting the course in 2025.
Course features include a lake swim for the adult race, pool swims for the youth races, bike segments on traffic-free roads with gentle rolling hills, and a fast, shaded run course. Distances for each event are:
- Adult Triathlon (15 and up): 700 meter swim, 12.4 mile bike, 5 km run
- Youth Triathlon 10-15: 225 meter pool swim, 6.2 mile bike, 2 km run
- Youth Triathlon 6-11: 75 meter pool swim, 3.1 mile bike, 1 km run
- Adult Triathlon 3 Person Relay
Awards are presented for overall male and female finishers, masters, relay winners, and Fawn Lake residents, plus age-group awards across a range of adult and youth age categories. Event sponsors provide participant support items, including an electrolyte replacement product supplied to participants. Photos from prior years are available from the event photo archives.
