Fawn Lake Triathlon : 17th Annual
The 17th Annual Fawn Lake Adult and Youth Triathlons take place on August 30, 2026, at 11305 Longstreet Drive, Spotsylvania, Virginia. The event day includes adult races, youth races for two age groups, and an adult three person relay. Registration opens March 26, 2026 and closes June 30, 2026. Entry fees listed are $130 for the adult single competitor, $50 for each youth race entry, and $180 for the adult three person relay team.
The adult swim is held in the lake. Bike sections run on roads described as traffic free and include gentle rolling hills. The run course is described as fast and shaded. The Fawn Lake community participates in the event; in 2025 there were 130 volunteers on the course to support athlete safety.
Event distances and race formats
- Adult (15 and up): 700 m swim, 12.4 mile bike, 5 km run
- Youth 10-15: 225 m swim, 6.2 mile bike, 2 km run
- Youth 6-11: 75 m swim, 3.1 mile bike, 1 km run
- Adult three person relay: 25.7 km total
