About the race
The 18th Annual Fawn Lake Adult and Youth Triathlons take place on 08/29/2027 at 11300 Longstreet Drive, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22551. The event program includes adult, youth, and relay races with separate age categories and measured swim, bike, and run segments.
Race distances and formats
- Adult Triathlon (13 and up): 25.7K (700 m swim, 12.4 mile bike, 5 km run)
- Youth Triathlon 10-15: 12.225K (225 m pool swim, 6.2 mile bike, 2 km run)
- Youth Triathlon 6-11: 6.075K (75 m pool swim, 3.1 mile bike, 1 km run)
- Adult Triathlon 3 Person Relay: 25.7K (team event)
Registration and fees are specified per event: adult entry fee is $130.00, youth entries are $50.00, and the 3-person relay fee is $180.00. Registration opens in late March 2027 and closes in late June 2027, with exact open and close dates varying by race. Shirt orders are based on actual registrations; registrations after July 25 may not receive a preferred shirt size.
Course features described by the organizer include a lake swim, a gentle rolling hill bike ride on traffic-free roads, and a shady run course.
