Lake Anna Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, and Half
The event takes place at Lake Anna State Park on November 27 and offers trail and road race options with chip timing. Points from this event count toward the 5K, 10K, Endurance, Back of the Pack series and the Fall Series.
Race options include:
- 5K, trail out and back on a technical wooded trail
- 10K, first half on trail then second half on paved road
- Half, out and back twice with the 10K turnaround as a reference
Participants receive a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. A virtual race option is available. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations before November 16; sizes for race day registrants cannot be guaranteed. Registration prices increase on race morning.
Course support and facilities are specified at the venue. There are 13 water stations along the half course, five along the 10K course, and one along the 5K course, with Gatorade available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the beach. Live results are posted online with a QR code available at the event and final results with series points are published after the race.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age groups. Banditing is not allowed and may result in removal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
