2026 Lake Anna Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, and Half
The event takes place on November 27 at Lake Anna State Park in Spotsylvania, Virginia. It offers three race distances and both on-course and remote participation options.

The 5K is a technical out-and-back trail run. The 10K uses the same trail section before continuing onto paved road for a flatter second half. The half marathon is two out-and-back laps, turning around just past the 10K turnaround. Walkers are welcome. Runners must pay the park entrance fee or use a state park pass to enter.
Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical DriFit event shirt, and chip timing. A virtual race option is offered for those unable to attend in person. Live results and final results with series points will be posted after the event, and on-course runner tracking and a QR code will be available for immediate result access.
Aid and logistics: the half course has 13 water stations, the 10K has five, and the 5K has one; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the beach. Packet pickup and race day registration are available at the event. Awards include top three overall men and women and age-group awards; overall top three are not eligible for age-group prizes.
