Fredericksburg Blue and Gray Half Marathon
The Fredericksburg Blue and Gray Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2026, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The event is a USATF certified half marathon that starts and finishes at Old Mill Park along the banks of the Rappahannock River and runs through the residential and historic areas of downtown Fredericksburg.
The course is mostly flat with one sustained uphill section beginning at mile 5 and one downhill section near mile 9. Aid stations are positioned at miles 2.5, 4.4, 6.4, 8.8, 10.5, and 11.8 and will provide cups of water and/or Gatorade. Porta potties are available at miles 2.5, 3.0, 7.5, 10.5, and 11.8. There is a 3.5 hour time limit to complete the half marathon.
All participants receive a long-sleeve technical race shirt if registered by November 20, 2026, and a finisher's medal. Registration is online only. Dogs and strollers are not permitted. Fredericksburg Area Running Club members receive a $5 discount. This event is the 26th running of the race and is the 12th and final race in the 2026 FARC Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Race Series.
