Fast Track Cross Country Open
Fast Track Cross Country Open takes place on November 8, 2026 at the MacNider cross country course near Hoover Elementary School in Schaumburg, Illinois. The event features separate men's and women's races, each covering 3 miles.
Registration opens July 3, 2026 and closes October 20, 2026. The registration fee for each race is $25. Packet pickup will be held at Xtra Mile Running, 31 W Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg; the pickup date and time at that location are to be announced. Race day packet pickup will also be available.
Limited parking is available at Hoover Elementary School, 315 N. Springinsguth Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60194. Additional street parking is available on Amherst Drive and Colwyn Drive. Parking is not allowed at the church across the street.
There is an optional team competition for both races. Teams must be finalized by Friday, November 6. Each team must include at least four runners of the same gender; the top four finishers score for the team and the fifth and sixth runners are counted against other teams. Clubs with more than six runners may form multiple teams.
Spikes are recommended but not required; trail shoes are available at Xtra Mile Running. T-shirt orders are placed in early October and sizes will be limited after that order. There are no refunds, bib transfers, or deferrals for any reason. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
