St. Francis Xavier Falcon 5K Run/Walk
St. Francis Xavier Falcon 5K Run/Walk is a community running event held in La Grange Park, Illinois, with start and finish on Richmond Avenue between Spring and Waiola. Packet pickup is available at St. Francis Xavier School (145 N. Waiola Ave.) on the days before the event and at the race starting line on race morning. Indoor restrooms will be available at the school. There will be no race day gear check.

The event offers additional entry options for a stroller division and a t shirt only purchase. Registration opens on August 16, 2026 and closes on October 17, 2026. Published registration fees are $40.00 for the 5K and stroller entries, and $20.00 for the kids fun run and t shirt only option.
On race day there is a kids fun run for ages 10 and under and a junior dash for first grade and younger that is free of charge. A post race party takes place in the school gym with donated food and drinks; age group and stroller division awards are announced after the race. Parking is available on neighborhood streets on both sides of Ogden Avenue; parking is not allowed on the course or in the school lot. Results for the 5K will be posted on the Chicago Athlete website.
Donations of cereal and oatmeal are collected at packet pickup, on site on race day, and at the post race party for the St. Francis Food Pantry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
