St. Francis Xavier Falcon 5K Run/Walk
St. Francis Xavier Falcon 5K is a community running event in La Grange Park that includes a 5K race, a 0.5 mile Kids Fun Run, and a stroller division. Race options and fees listed by the organizer include the 5K ($40), Kids .5 Mile Fun Run ($20), Stroller entry ($40), a T‑shirt only option ($20), and an on-course signage recognition option ($150).
Race bib pick-up is handled before the event at St. Francis Xavier School and on-site at the race starting area. The event includes a junior dash for very young children, age-group and stroller division awards presented after the races, and a post-race party in the school gym with food and drinks donated by local businesses, including bagels, bananas, donuts, and water. Indoor restrooms are available at the school. There will be no race day gear check.
A collection box for donations of cereal and oatmeal will be available at packet pickup, on site on race day, and at the after party to support the St. Francis Food Pantry.
Parking is available on neighborhood streets on both sides of Ogden Avenue; parking is not permitted on the course or in the school lot. Results for the 5K will be posted on the Chicago Athlete website.
