St. Francis Xavier Falcon 5K Run/Walk
The event on November 7, 2026, in La Grange Park features multiple running options that start and finish on Richmond between Spring and Waiola. The organizer offers a main 5K road race plus shorter and non-competitive options.

Registration opens August 16, 2026, and most registration closes October 24, 2026; a T-shirt-only option closes October 17, 2026. Posted registration fees include $40 for the 5K and stroller entries, and $20 for the kids run and T-shirt-only option.
Packet pickup is available at St. Francis Xavier School (145 N. Waiola Ave.) in the days before the event and at the race starting area on event day. A collection box will be available for donations of cereal and oatmeal for the St. Francis Food Pantry at packet pickup, on site during the event, and at the post-race gathering.
Facilities and services noted: indoor restrooms at the school, no race-day gear check, neighborhood street parking on both sides of Ogden Ave., and parking restrictions on the course and in the school lot. A post-race party will take place in the school gym with donated food and drinks, and age-group and stroller division awards will be presented.
