Event Information
The St. Francis Xavier Falcon 5K Run/Walk is a running event scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, in La Grange Park, Illinois. The starting line is at the intersection of Richmond Avenue and Waiola Avenue.
The event includes several different participation options:
- 5K run/walk
- Kids .5 Mile Fun Run for ages 10 and under
- Stroller division
- On Course Marker "Shout-Out!" option
- T-Shirt Only option
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at St. Francis Xavier School. Race day packet pickup is also available at the starting line.
Course and Logistics
All events start and finish on Richmond Avenue between Spring and Waiola. The 5K course is a USATF-certified route. The event encourages donations of cereal or oatmeal for the St. Francis Food Pantry, with collection boxes available at packet pickup and the race site.
Parking is available on neighborhood streets on both sides of Ogden Avenue. There is no race day gear check. Indoor restrooms are available at the school.
Post-Race and Awards
A post-race party with food and drinks takes place in the school gym. Age group and stroller division awards are presented at the party. Race results for the 5K are posted online.
