The Athletic Brewing Company Fairfield Road Races take place on June 6 and June 7, 2026, at Jennings Beach in Fairfield, CT (880 S Benson Rd, 06824). The event includes these distances and formats:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Lucas Challenge (Half Marathon & 5K)
- Athletic Brewing Beer Mile!
- Lil' Stags Kids Fun Run (1/2 Mile)
The Athletic Brewing Beer Mile is open to ages 21 to 100. The Lil' Stags Kids Fun Run is open to ages 12 and under. The Lucas Challenge combines the half marathon and the 5K, a total of 16.2 miles to be completed within 24 hours.
Amenities and logistics
Courses are certified and have clocks at every mile. The half marathon course has 11 water stations; the 5K course has 2 water stations. Medical personnel are stationed along the course and at the beach. All participants receive technical running shirts; half marathon finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal. A post-race beach party includes live music, food and beverages, vendors, and an awards ceremony. Bands and cheer groups will be positioned along the half marathon and 5K courses. There is an option to have the race packet mailed if registered by May 29 for an additional $15. Early packet pick-up is available at the Fairfield University Bookstore on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6. The Beer Mile requires consuming one non-alcoholic Athletic Brewing beer at the start of each lap, for a total of four beers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
