Event overview
The Athletic Brewing Company Fairfield Road Races take place June 6-7, 2026 in Fairfield, CT at Jennings Beach (880 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). The weekend includes multiple events:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Lucas Challenge (Half Marathon & 5K)
- Athletic Brewing Beer Mile!
- Lil' Stags Kids Fun Run (1/2 Mile)
The Lucas Challenge combines the half marathon and the 5K for a total of 16.2 miles. The Athletic Brewing Beer Mile requires completing four laps and consuming one non-alcoholic Athletic Brewing beer at the beginning of each lap. The Beer Mile is open to ages 21-100. The kids fun run is open to ages 12 and under.
Course and logistics
Courses are certified and include clocks at every mile. The half marathon course has 11 water stations; the 5K course has 2 water stations. Medical personnel are positioned both along the course and at the beach. All participants receive technical running shirts; half marathon finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal. A post-race beach party will follow, with live music, food and beverage vendors, and an awards ceremony. Packet mailing is available for an additional $15 if registered by May 29. Early packet pick-up is at the Fairfield University Bookstore, 1499 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT (Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6 with specified availability).
