2025 Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K
The Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 27, 2025, at Savin Rock Conference Center (on the beach side), 6 Rock St., West Haven, CT. The event is held rain or shine. The course is flat and runs along the Savin Rock Boardwalk on the beach, with no car traffic on the boardwalk. The event distance is 5K.
Race details and logistics
Entry includes a short sleeve cotton race shirt. Results are provided live online and by text or email, and finish line photos are provided free. Awards are custom pint pilsner glasses presented to the top 5 male and female overall finishers and the top 5 male and female in the following age groups: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. On race day, payment by card is not accepted; cash and checks are accepted. Bib pickup is handled by event staff; participants must know their bib number or use the self lookup area, and should bring photo ID. The event also includes a food drive for W.H.E.A.T., a local food pantry that serves low-income residents and distributes food to households in the area.
