Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K
The Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 26, 2026 at the Savin Rock Conference Center on the beach side, 6 Rock St., West Haven, CT 06516. The event is scheduled rain or shine and uses a flat course along the Savin Rock Boardwalk with coastal breezes, unobstructed boardwalk running and views of the rising sun.
Registration options include a 5K entry. Listed fees show an early bird total of $38.98 including processing, with a base 5K fee of $35.00. Registration fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be deferred. On race day payments accepted are cash, checks made out to "cash" and Venmo to ShorelineSharks; cards are not accepted on site. Shirt sizes are offered but not guaranteed.
Amenities provided for entrants include unisex short sleeve tech shirts, live online text and email results, and free finish line photos and video. Awards are custom pint pilsner glass awards with top five male and female overall placings and top five male and female age group awards for age ranges from 10-14 through 80 plus.
A community food drive supports WHEAT, a food pantry that serves low income residents including unemployed, underemployed, disabled people, seniors on fixed incomes, veterans with limited benefits, and children; WHEAT distributes to 5,000 households including 1,000 school aged children.
