Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K, West Haven CT
The Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 26, 2026 at the Savin Rock Conference Center on the beach side, 6 Rock Street, West Haven, Connecticut. The event is set along the Savin Rock Boardwalk.
The course is flat and runs along the beach boardwalk with coastal breezes and ocean views. The boardwalk is car free for the course.
Amenities listed for entrants include unisex short sleeve tech shirts, live online and text results, and free finish line photos and same day video. Awards are custom pint pilsner glass prizes presented to the top five male and female overall finishers and the top five male and female finishers in multiple age groups, including 10 through 80 plus in five year brackets.
Registration options include a 5K entry and a donation only option. Registration terms state that fees are non refundable and non transferable, and that shirt sizes are not guaranteed. On race day only cash and checks are accepted and cards are not accepted. Participants must know their bib number to pick up a bib and a self lookup area will be available.
The event will host a food drive for WHEAT, a food pantry that serves low income residents and distributes food to approximately 5,000 households including about 1,000 school aged children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
