Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K
The Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for November 26, 2026 at the Savin Rock Conference Center (on the beach side), 6 Rock St., West Haven, CT 06516. The course runs flat along the Savin Rock Boardwalk with coastal breezes and sunrise views, and the boardwalk course has no vehicle traffic.
Registration information notes early bird pricing through July 31. Example fees shown include a 5K entry of $40.00 and a total of $44.15 when processing fees are applied. All registration fees are non-refundable and entries are not transferable or deferrable. On race day payments accepted include cash, checks and Venmo; cards are not accepted. Donation options and suggested amounts are listed during registration.
Amenities for entrants include unisex short sleeve tech shirts (sizes not guaranteed), live online/text/email results, and free finish line photos. Awards are custom pint pilsner glass trophies presented to the top five male and female overall finishers and top five in a range of age groups from 10-14 through 80+. Bib pickup is handled by event staff before the race and a self-lookup area is available for those who do not know their bib number.
The event also hosts a food drive for WHEAT, a food pantry serving low-income residents; materials note distribution to 5,000 households including 1,000 school-aged children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
