Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K
Shoreline Turkey Trot is a 5K road event held on November 26, 2026 at the Savin Rock Conference Center on the beach side in West Haven, CT. The course runs flat along the Savin Rock Boardwalk with coastal breezes and no vehicle traffic on the boardwalk.
Registration examples list a base entry fee of $40 with a transaction fee of $4.15 producing a total of $44.15. An early bird option is noted with a July 31 deadline. Registration terms state that all fees are non refundable and entries are not transferable or deferrable.
The event includes unisex short sleeve tech shirts for entrants, live online or text or email results, and free finish line photos. Awards are custom pint pilsner glass trophies given to the top five male and top five female overall finishers and to the top five in each of the listed age groups, starting at 10 to 14 and continuing in five year increments up to 80 plus.
Organizers run a food drive for WHEAT, a food pantry that serves low income residents; the pantry currently distributes food to 5,000 households including about 1,000 school aged children.
