Explorer Turkey Trot

Explorer Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Hudson Middle School, 83 North Oviatt Street, Hudson, Ohio. The event includes a 5K, a one mile loop, and a kids' fun run on the Memorial Stadium track. The 5K route starts at the middle school, goes downtown, and returns to the school to finish.

The event is presented by the Hudson Athletic Booster Club. All proceeds are reinvested into Hudson student-athletes, athletic teams, equipment, and related programs. The Booster Club provided more than $115,000 in grant funding last year to fulfill coaches’ requests for team needs, including equipment, uniforms, training, and educational resources. The club also awarded four scholarships of $2,000 each to student-athletes.

Awards will be given to the top male and top female winners. Pre-race registration for the 5K or one mile loop is listed at $40 and includes a short-sleeve Bella & Canvas race t-shirt for pre-registered participants.
