The 2026 Kent Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Kent, OH 44240. It is presented as a family event featuring a 5K run/walk and a short Fun Run/Walk. Distances offered:

Logistics and awards
Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run. The 5K price increases after August 30, 2026; the Fun Run price increases after October 30, 2026. Early packet pickup and late registration are scheduled the day before the race at Kent Park and Rec. Race day packet pickup is available at the same Shelter House location. There is no race day registration; the event sold out last year at 1,000 runners. Race day parking is described as across the street from the Shelter House and Fred Fuller Park. Awards include medals for the top three overall male and female finishers and for the top three in each age group (14U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+). The top 20 Fun Run finishers receive medals and remaining Fun Run participants receive ribbons. The first 900 pre-registered participants receive a winter beanie hat or soft crew sweatshirt; Fun Run participants receive T-shirts.
