The 2026 Kent Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Kent, Ohio at 467 Middlebury Rd, 44240. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- Fun Run (less than 800 meters)
Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run. Results are posted at Summit Athletic’s race calendar.
Logistics and awards
Early packet pick up and late registration are scheduled the day before at Kent Park and Rec, Shelter House, 601 Middlebury Rd. Race-day packet pick up is available at the same shelter house. There is no race-day registration; the event sold out the previous year at 1,000 runners. Race-day parking is across the street from the Shelter House and Fred Fuller Park.
Awards include medals for the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each male and female age group. Age groups listed are 14U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+. Medals are also given to the top 20 Fun Run winners; remaining Fun Run participants receive ribbons. The first 900 pre-registered participants are scheduled to receive a winter beanie hat or soft crew sweatshirt, and Fun Run participants receive T-shirts.
