2026 Kent Turkey Trot

The Kent Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, at Kent Park and Recreation in Kent, Ohio. The event is organized as a family oriented running and walking event held at 467 Middlebury Road with multiple participant options.

5K run/walk
Fun Run under 800 meters

Packet pickup and late registration are scheduled the day before at the Kent Park and Rec Shelter House at 601 Middlebury Road. Race day packet pickup is also held at the Shelter House. There is no race day registration for the running events; the event reached capacity the previous year at 1,000 participants. Race day parking is available across the street from the Shelter House and Fred Fuller Park. Results are posted after the event on the race results page.

Participant items and awards are provided. The first 900 pre registered participants receive either a winter beanie hat or a soft crew sweatshirt, and Fun Run participants receive event T shirts. Age group and overall awards include medals to the top three male and female overall finishers and top three in each listed male and female age group. Fun Run awards include medals for the top 20 finishers and ribbons for remaining participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
