Turkey Burner 5K
The Turkey Burner 5K takes place in Hinckley, Ohio, within the Hinckley Reservation. The event follows a scenic course that loops around Hinckley Lake on a paved path in a counter-clockwise direction. Participants can observe local flora and fauna along the water while completing the distance. Many attendees choose to wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes for the occasion.

The start and finish area is located at the South Ball Field parking lot. Registration is limited to 1,000 participants to manage local parking availability. Participants are encouraged to carpool to the event site. Those who register receive a custom long-sleeved shirt and a medal. Age group awards, consisting of custom winter hats, are presented for various categories ranging from under 10 to over 70.
Early packet pick-up is scheduled for the day before the event at a location in Medina. Fundraising opportunities are available, with incentives offered for reaching specific donation milestones. Proceeds from the event support Running2bwell, an organization providing wellness programs for individuals managing addiction and mental health challenges.
