Even Splits York 5K : event summary
The Even Splits York 5K is a monthly road race held from February to November at the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit. The course is flat and run over 5 Kilometres as five laps of the circuit. The event on 13 November 2026 is one of the monthly fixtures.
Races are chip timed. Results are sent by text at the finish and kilometre splits are published the next day. Entrants receive a chocolate bar at the finish. A timing number with an embedded chip is issued on first entry and can be reused at York and Leeds 5K events; one free number replacement is permitted in a 12 month period and additional replacements cost £4.
The event is listed as having a race licence applied for. The entry limit is 200 runners. Entry fees are shown as £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for unaffiliated runners. Entry on the day is not available. Entrants may defer a place once to the next race they can attend in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. By entering, runners accept that places are non refundable and not transferable.
Facilities at the Race HQ include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage.
