The York MoRun is scheduled for 16 November 2025 at York Racecourse, Knavesmire Road, YO23 1EX. Distances on offer are:

Entries for the 2025 event are open and close on 8 November 2025. Earlybird entries are listed as opening in summer 2025. The event supports the charity Movember, which raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Every finisher receives a MoRun medal and a finisher headband; there are also bonus medals for categories such as best dressed and fastest moustache.
Course and logistics
The course is mainly flat with one incline. The route description notes the first 2 km are on a pathway and from 2 km to 5 km is on grass with one incline and some bumps; the surface could be muddy after rain. The 5 km is one lap, the 10 km is two laps and the half marathon is four laps plus an extra 1.1 km section. The course is dog friendly, not suitable for wheelchair users, and off-road running buggies are allowed if conditions are not too muddy. There are two road crossings on the route and marshals will be present. Race timing uses chip-on-bib technology with both gun time and net time provided; results are available instantly and posted to participant profiles. Facilities include limited parking around the racecourse, toilets next to the event hub and a manned, limited bag storage area. Drinks and sweets are provided at the finish.
