Event overview
The York MoRun takes place on 16 November 2025 at York Racecourse, Knavesmire Road, York, YO23 1EX. The event supports Movember, raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Entries close on 8 November 2025 and earlybird entries open in summer 2025.

Race information
The course runs largely off road: the first 2 km is on pathway, then 2 km to 5 km is grass with one incline and some bumps. The course is mainly flat with one incline, may be muddy after rain, and includes two road crossings. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps and the half marathon is four laps plus an additional 1.1 km section. The course is not suitable for wheelchair users; off-road running buggies are permitted if conditions allow. Dogs are allowed.
Event logistics include full race chip timing with instant results and both gun and net times recorded; placings are based on gun time. Participants receive a medal, finisher headband, and access to drinks and sweets at the finish. Parking and bag storage at the racecourse are limited.
