About the race
Tadcaster 10 is a UKA licensed, fully closed road race held in Tadcaster, Yorkshire. The event is measured accurately and run over a single lap of 10 Miles on an undulating road course that loops around Tadcaster centre before heading east through the villages of Catterton, Healaugh and Wighill.
Race headquarters are at The Barn, St Josephs Street, Tadcaster LS24 9HA, and the race start is outside Race HQ. The event includes a drink station on course around the 5 mile mark offering a mixture of paper cups and plastic bottles while organisers work to phase out single use plastic bottles. Facilities listed for the event include water, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage; there are no changing facilities or showers.
Prizes include custom Tadcaster 10 medals and treats for finishers and cash prizes for male and female age groups plus bonuses for breaking the course record. In the previous year the total prize pot exceeded £1000. Entry is limited to 1200 runners. Early entries will be posted out approximately two weeks before the event; entries submitted after the posting date will be collected on race day.
