Tadcaster 10 2026
The Tadcaster 10 is a fully closed road race held over a measured 10 miles. The event is UKA licensed (Race Licence 2026-28391) and uses an accurately measured, undulating single lap course. The entry limit is 1200 and the course is described as suitable for wheelchairs.
The route loops around Tadcaster town centre before heading east and passing through the villages of Catterton, Healaugh and Wighill. There is a drink station on course at about the 5 mile mark offering a mixture of paper cups and plastic bottles; organisers are working to reduce single use plastic.
Race headquarters is at The Barn, St Joseph Street, Tadcaster LS24 9HA and the race start is outside the race HQ on St Josephs Street. Race materials are posted to early entrants roughly two weeks before the event; entries submitted after the posting date will be collected on the day. Deferrals and refunds are subject to an administration fee and no deferrals or transfers are permitted after 31 October 2026.
Facilities listed for the event include water, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage. There are no changing facilities or showers. Finishers receive custom medals and some treats, and cash prizes are awarded in male and female age groups and for breaking the course record; the prize fund exceeded £1000 in the previous year.
