Tadcaster 10 : Tadcaster, Yorkshire (22 November 2026)
The event is a fully closed road race of 10 Miles held in Tadcaster, Yorkshire. It is UKA approved with race licence 2026-28391 and the course is accurately measured and described as a PB course. The route is an undulating single lap that loops around Tadcaster centre before heading east and passing through the villages of Catterton, Healaugh and Wighill.
There is a drink station on the course at around the five mile mark offering a mixture of paper cups and plastic bottles; organisers are trying to phase out single-use plastic bottles. The event is listed as suitable for wheelchairs. Finishers receive custom Tadcaster 10 medals and some treats, and there are cash prizes for male and female age groups and for anyone breaking the course record. Last year the prize fund exceeded £1,000. Current course records are male 50:04 (2022) and female 56:14 (2023).
Race headquarters is at The Barn, St Josephs Street, Tadcaster LS24 9HA and the race start is outside Race HQ. Facilities at the event include water, distance markers, toilets and baggage storage; there are no changing facilities or showers. Most car parks are within a five minute walk of Race HQ and marshals will help direct vehicles. The event has an entry limit of 1200 places. Entry fees listed are £20.00 for affiliated runners and £22.00 for unaffiliated runners; if the event has not sold out, entry on the day is available for an additional £3.00. Early entries are posted out approximately two weeks before the event. Deferrals and refunds are subject to an administration fee and transfers or deferrals are not allowed after 31 October 2026.
