Course, logistics and facilities
The route is a single lap that loops around Tadcaster centre then heads east through the villages of Catterton, Healaugh and Wighill. The profile is described as undulating. There is a drink station on course at around the 5 mile mark offering a mixture of paper cups and plastic bottles; organisers are phasing out single use plastic bottles. Race headquarters is at The Barn, St Joseph Street, Tadcaster LS24 9HA, and the race start is outside race HQ. Race packs are posted out before the event so there is no need to register on the day; early entries are posted about two weeks before the event and entries after the posting date are collected on the day. Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets and a baggage store. There are no changing facilities or showers. The event is listed as suitable for wheelchairs.
