The race uses chip timing and is licensed by England Athletics. Results are sent by text immediately after finishing, and kilometre splits are published online the following day. Registration and Fees
Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day. Entry on the day is not available. Fees range from £10.00 to £22.00, depending on affiliation status and whether a single race or multi-race pass is purchased. A race number with an embedded timing chip is issued upon first entry and can be reused for both York and Leeds 5k events. One free number replacement is allowed per 12-month period.
