Course, logistics and rules
The route is based on a 6.5-mile trail loop. Competitors complete a set number of laps according to their chosen distance. The course starts from the centre of Knaresborough and climbs gently through parkland before following the former railway track between Knaresborough and Harrogate.
Feed stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles and supply water, snacks, and fuel. The course is fully marshalled and clearly signed. Finishers receive a bespoke finisher medal and post-race treats. Public toilets are located in the nearby car park, which is a public pay-and-display facility a short walk from registration.
The event operates as cup-less; participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Large over-ear headphones are not permitted; bone-conduction or single in-ear use is allowed.
