Event details
The Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile takes place on Sunday 18 October 2026 with the start line at the University of York. The race is held on the same day as the Altra Yorkshire Marathon. Entrants must be 18 years or over. Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal, and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB.
On-the-day information and logistics
Water stations will supply 330 ml bottles and High5 energy products, with recycling bins provided at each station. Baggage can be left in a designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip on the race number. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course and will carry flags showing finish times. Toilets are located around the stadium and in the event area. Medical personnel and fixed first aid stations will be available near water stations, plus a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish. MarathonPhotos will take event photographs. Results will be published in the event results section soon after the race. On event day some roads will be closed or have restrictions; an interactive road closure map and additional road closure documents are available. University car parking is reserved for Blue Badge holders and a Pullman Park and Ride from Elvington Airfield will operate.
