Event Information
The Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile is a running event held in the city of York. It takes place on the same day as the full Yorkshire Marathon. The start line is at the University of York.
What's Included
Participants receive chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive medal, and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB. The event is for entrants aged 18 and over.
On the Day
An Event Village offers food and drink for purchase. There are water stations and Applied Nutrition energy stations on the course. A baggage store is available. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be present. Toilets, first aid, and massage facilities are provided. Official photos are taken and can be purchased. All discarded clothing at the start is collected for donation.
Travel and Location
The event is at the University of York. Parking at the university is for Blue Badge holders only. Dedicated park and ride schemes operate on event day. Regular bus services and train travel to York are available. Some roads will be closed for the event.
Sustainability
The event encourages recycling with bins provided on course and at water stations. A partnership with JogOn allows participants to donate unwanted running shoes at drop-off stations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
