Yorkshire 10 Mile : event overview
The Yorkshire 10 Mile takes place in York on Sunday 18 October 2026, with the start line at the University of York. The race is held on the same day as the Altra Yorkshire Marathon; the marathon takes place before the 10 mile.
Entrants must be 18 years or over. Race entry includes chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive medal and the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an engraved iTAB. Race numbers are posted about two weeks before the event to UK addresses only; overseas entrants can collect numbers from the Race Office at event weekend.
On event day there is an Event Village offering food and drink for purchase, partner charity stands and facilities such as baggage store, toilets around the stadium and a first aid unit with roaming first aiders. Baggage is checked in using the tear-off strip attached to the race number. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will run with flags indicating target finish times.
On course there will be water stations supplying 330 ml bottles and Applied Nutrition energy stations offering gels and tablets, with recycling bins provided at water stations. Race photography will be available from MarathonPhotos and full results will be published on the results section of the website after the event.
Travel options to the University of York include car, park and ride, bus, rail, bike and air. Car parking on campus is for Blue Badge holders only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
