Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile : University of York, Sunday 18 October 2026
The Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile is a 10 miles road race held in York on the same day as the Altra Yorkshire Marathon. The event is based at the University of York and is open to entrants aged 18 or over.
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an iTAB, and an exclusive medal. Race numbers are posted or can be collected from the Race Office; numbers are normally delivered about two weeks before the event and cannot be posted to overseas addresses without a UK address.
On course there are water stations supplying 330 ml bottles, Applied Nutrition energy stations offering gels and tablets, and recycling bins provided after water points. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times. Medical provision includes first aid stations near water points, a first aid unit and recovery area by the start and finish, and roaming first aiders in the Event Village.
Event Village facilities include food and drink for purchase, toilets around the stadium, baggage drop with a tear-off strip system, photographers on course, and partner charities present in the village. Clothing left at the start will be collected and donated. Travel options to the venue include car, bus, rail, bike and air; car parking at the University of York is for Blue Badge holders only and park and ride services will operate.
