Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile, Sunday 18 October 2026
The Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile is a road race based at the University of York held on Sunday 18 October 2026. Entrants must be 18 years or older. The event takes place on the same day as the Altra Yorkshire Marathon and shares many of the same event features.
Included for participants are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an iTAB, and an exclusive medal. Race numbers are posted to UK addresses about two weeks before the event; overseas entrants must collect numbers from the Race Office on event weekend. Address changes can be made up to six weeks before the event.
The Event Village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Water stations on course supply 330 ml bottles and recycling bins; High5 energy stations provide Zero tabs and energy gels. Baggage can be dropped at a designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip on the race number. Discarded clothing left at the start will be collected and donated unless checked into baggage.
On course there will be pacers with flags showing target finish times. Toilets are located around the stadium and first aid stations are positioned near water stations, with additional first aid and recovery at the start and finish and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. MarathonPhotos will take photos during the event and results will be published in the results section soon after the race.
Travel options listed include car, bus, rail, bike and air. Car parking at the University of York is reserved for Blue Badge holders and park and ride services operate on event day.
