Yorkshire 10 Mile
The Altra Yorkshire 10 Mile is a road race held on Sunday 18 October 2026 as part of the Altra Yorkshire Marathon Festival. The course starts and finishes at the University of York and passes landmarks including York Minster, the village of Stockton-on-the-Forest and Murton Way before returning via University Road. The event takes place on the same day as the full Yorkshire Marathon.
Included for entrants are a finisher medal, chip timing, a goody bag and the option to add a finisher t shirt. Entrants must be 18 years or over on the day of the race. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course with flags indicating target finish times.
The Event Village is located on University of York Campus West and will host partner charities, food and drink outlets, race photography and a massage service from Sano Physiotherapy York. Baggage storage is on Campus South and baggage labels are attached to race numbers. Race numbers are normally posted to UK addresses only with delivery around two weeks before the event and a postal entry deadline after 25 September; overseas participants can collect from the Race Office.
Water stations on course will supply 330ml bottles and recycling bins. First aid stations are located near water stops and a first aid unit and recovery unit will be near the finish. Clothing left at the start will be collected and donated unless placed in the baggage store. JogOn trainer drop off stations will be available in the Event Village. Park and Ride services operate from Elvington Airfield, Askham Bar and Grimston Bar and there is no event parking at the University of York. Road closures will be in place on race day.
