Yorkshire 10 Mile
The Yorkshire 10 Mile is a city road race in York taking place on Sunday 18 October 2026. The field starts from the University of York and the event runs on the same day as the Altra Yorkshire Marathon, sharing many of the same features while covering 10 mile.
Entrants must be 18 years or over. Official race services include chip timing, an exclusive medal and a finisher’s goody bag, with an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an engraved iTAB for the medal.
An Event Village near the start and finish offers food and drink for purchase and space for partner charities. Water stations on course provide 330 ml bottles, and Applied Nutrition energy stations supply gels and tablets. Recycling bins are provided at water stations and around the event site.
Support on course includes pacers sponsored by Arla Protein who carry flags with target finish times, fixed first aid stations located near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area by the start and finish, and roaming first aiders. Toilets are available around the stadium; the organiser enforces a zero tolerance policy for public urination.
Baggage can be left in the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip from the race number. Photographs are taken on course by MarathonPhotos and results are published after the event. Car parking at the University of York is for Blue Badge holders only; park and ride services operate on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
