EvenSplits York 5K
The Even Splits York 5K is a monthly series of chip-timed road races held at the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit between February and November. The course is flat, run over five laps, and is presented as suitable for fast times. The event is EA licensed and results are published on Power of 10.
Race entries include a reusable race number with an embedded timing chip that can be used at York and Leeds 5K events; this number is collected from registration on first attendance. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020–25 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free number replacement within a 12 month period; further replacements are charged at £4.
Facilities at Race HQ include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. The event lists an entry limit of 200 and showed 169 places remaining at the time of listing. A York Race Pass is offered for multiple events in the season alongside single-race entries; pricing varies for affiliated and unaffiliated runners.
Deferral is permitted once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. All entries are non-refundable and places may not be transferred. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
