Even Splits York 5K (AUG '26) - University of York Sport Village
The Even Splits York 5K is a monthly road race held at the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit, organised from February to November. The course is flat and comprises five laps of the cycle circuit, covering a distance of 5 kilometres. The event is chip timed and EA licensed; results appear on Power of 10, finish-line results are sent by text, and kilometre splits are published the following day.
Entry is limited to 200 runners. Entrants receive a race number with an embedded timing chip on their first entry; this number can be reused at York and Leeds 5K events and must be collected from Registration on first use. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be used again in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Each entrant is entitled to one free number replacement within a 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Facilities at Race HQ include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Race passes are available for multiple events in the Aug to Nov block. Deferred entries are allowed once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. All entries are final; no refunds or transfers are permitted.
