The Big Bear Run 10k 2026
The Big Bear Run is a charity focused 10k held on Sunday 16th August 2026 at Askham Bryan Wildlife and Conservation Park in Askham Bryan near York. The route starts and finishes within the park grounds and uses closed local roads that pass through nearby villages. The course is chip timed and follows an England Athletics route.
Entry to the wildlife and conservation park is included with the event ticket and spectator passes are available. At the finish there is cake and a themed medal. The 2026 event supports the Asiatic Black Bears rescue programme run by the team at Askham Bryan.
The organiser is Curly's Athletes, a community and charity focused event management team based in Scunthorpe. Ticket sales for the event close on 13th August 2026 and tickets are currently sold out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
