Wetherby 10K 2026
Wetherby 10K is a single-lap, multi-terrain 10 kilometre race held with race headquarters at Wetherby Racecourse in West Yorkshire. The event uses professional chip timing and includes a halfway water station, distance markers and marshals along the route. The course is described as flat and is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 1,000 places.
The event raises funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity. Organisers operate a raffle with prizes including a spa break for two and a lunch voucher. A commemorative large mug is provided to finishers. The organisers state there is no cut-off time and a tail runner is present to support slower participants.
Facilities at the race HQ include a large car park with easy access, portaloo toilets stocked with sanitary products, hot and cold refreshments, an ice cream van and a charity cake stall. Medical cover is provided and results are posted online after the race. Chip timed race numbers are collected on the day and a number transfer service operates up to two weeks before the event.
Race rules note that 10k competitors must be at least 15 years old, entries are not accepted from wheelchair athletes, and the use of in-ear earphones is prohibited unless approved for medical reasons; bone conducting earphones are permitted.
