Wetherby 10K 2026
The Wetherby 10K takes place on Sunday 6 September 2026 in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The event raises money for Leeds Hospitals Charity, which funds equipment, treatments, research and comforts for patients and supports NHS staff across the region.
Distances and formats:
- 10 kilometres - one lap, multi terrain, flat course.
- Mini Marathon 1.6 miles - entry on the day only, no lower age limit.
The race uses professional chip timing provided by Racebest and includes distance markers, a halfway water stop, friendly marshals and a tail runner; there is no cut off time. Race headquarters is at Wetherby Racecourse with a large car park and portaloo toilets stocked with sanitary products. Hot and cold refreshments, an ice cream van and a charity cake stall operate on site. All finishers receive a commemorative large mug and the organisers provide professional medical cover.
Entry details given by the organiser include an entry limit of 1000 places and fees of £20 for affiliated competitors and £22 for unaffiliated competitors. Ten kilometre entrants must be at least 15 years old. Wheelchair athletes cannot be accepted. Transfers are permitted up to two weeks before the event.
