Event Details

The Even Splits Leeds 5k is a monthly race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. Races are chip-timed and EA licensed. Results are sent by text as soon as a runner crosses the finish line, and mile splits are published the next day. A chocolate bar is given to participants at the finish.

Course and Venue

The course is a traffic-free, flat, 5 km road route consisting of 3 laps. The race is suitable for wheelchairs. The event is limited to 200 participants. The Race HQ is the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, on Bodington Avenue in Leeds.

Facilities

Available facilities include water stations, distance markers, and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store.

Registration and Fees

Entry is online only and closes at 10:00 on race day; entry on the day is not available. The entry fee for a single race is £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for unaffiliated runners. Discounted multi-race passes are available. Upon first entry, runners are assigned a reusable race number with an embedded timing chip, valid for both Leeds and York 5k events.
