EvenSplits Leeds 5K (Sep 2026)
The EvenSplits Leeds 5K is a monthly 5 kilometre road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. The course is flat and run over three laps. Races are chip timed and are EA licensed, with results appearing on Power of 10. Finish-line texts are sent as runners cross, and mile splits are published the following day. A small refreshment is provided at the finish.
Entry is limited to 200 places and the organiser publishes remaining places. Single race entry prices are listed for affiliated and unaffiliated runners, and a multi-race pass is available for the Sep to Nov series. Entry on the day is not available. When entering for the first time runners are assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip; this number can be used at both Leeds and York 5K events and is collected at registration on first attendance. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are allowed one free number replacement within a 12 month period; further replacements incur a small fee.
Race headquarters are at the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Leeds LS16 8NA. Races include water, distance markers and toilets but no changing rooms, showers or baggage storage. Places may be deferred once to the next race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. There are no refunds and race places cannot be transferred.
