Even Splits Leeds 5K (SEP '26)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre from February to November. The event covers 5 kilometres on a flat, three-lap course and is set up for chip timing. It is EA licensed and results appear on Power of 10.
Runners receive a text with their finish-time as they cross the line and mile splits are published the next day. A chocolate bar is provided at the finish. First-time entrants are assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip that can also be used at the York 5K; this number is collected at Registration. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020–25 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Each entrant is entitled to one free number replacement in a 12 month period; subsequent replacements incur a £4 charge.
The field is limited to 200 places. The course is suitable for wheelchairs and a race licence is applied for. Facilities at Race HQ, Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, include water, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage.
Entries are offered as single race or multi-race passes with prices shown as £10 to £31. Entry on the day is not available. Places may be deferred once to the next race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. No refunds or transfers are permitted.
