Leeds 5K
The EvenSplits Leeds 5K is a monthly road running event held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. The race takes place on a 5 km course consisting of three laps. The route is situated in a traffic-free environment and features a flat profile, making it suitable for participants using wheelchairs.
This event is EA licensed, and results are officially recorded on Power of 10. Timing is managed via electronic chips embedded in the race numbers. Participants receive their results by text message upon completion of the course, and mile splits are provided the following day. Every runner is provided with a chocolate bar at the finish line.
The event structure utilizes a persistent numbering system. Runners are assigned a race number for their first event that can be reused for subsequent races throughout the 2026 season. The venue provides access to water, distance markers, and toilets. However, there are no changing facilities, showers, or baggage storage areas available on-site.
Registration is open to both affiliated and unaffiliated runners, with a maximum capacity of 200 participants. Entry is managed in advance, and on-the-day registration is not available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
