Darkwood Demon

The Darkwood Demon is a 6-mile trail race held in the scenic Colne Valley, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Organized by Slaithwaite Striders, the course features diverse terrain including towpaths, bridleways, moorland, bogs, woodland, and some road sections, with a challenging climb up Slaithwaite Moor followed by a fast descent to the finish at Zapato Brewery. The race is chip-timed and offers trophies for the top male and female finishers, as well as prizes for the top three in each category and spot prizes.
