Even Splits Leeds 5K (May 2026)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly, chip-timed road race held at the Brownlee Centre, University of Leeds. The course covers 5 kilometres over three flat laps and is limited to 200 entries. An event race licence has been applied for. Results are recorded electronically and appear on Power of 10.
Race services include texted finish-line results and published mile splits the following day. First-time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip that can also be used at the York 5K. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Each entrant is entitled to one free number replacement within a 12 month period; subsequent replacements incur a £4 charge.
Facilities at Race HQ, Brownlee Centre (Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Leeds LS16 8NA), include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Entry on the day is not available. Entrants may defer their place once to the next race they can attend in the calendar year, provided the request is made at least three days before race day.
