Atalanta Races Womens 5k

Women's Only Running in West Yorkshire

The Atalanta Races Womens 5k is a dedicated event for female participants located in Hebden Bridge. This well marked course is designed to accommodate runners of all abilities. The route begins at the Hebden Bridge Town Hall and leads participants away from the town centre. Runners will see a glimpse of the National Trust Hardcastle Crags before the course turns back toward the town hall and concludes in the square.

The event is open to participants between the ages of 13 and 98. Runners aged 13 to 16 must be accompanied by an appropriate adult. Due to the nature of the course, the route is not suitable for pushchairs.

The registration area and the race start are both located at the Hebden Bridge Town Hall on St George’s Street. Every participant who completes the race receives a bespoke medal as part of their entry fee. This event represents one of the first women's only races held in this part of West Yorkshire.
