Event overview
The Leeds Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 10 May 2026 and starts at AMT Headingley Stadium. The event is a half marathon that raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity each year and often attracts thousands of runners. Large crowds line the route to support participants.
Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Entries include chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive medal, with an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB.
On the day and facilities
An Event Village will offer food and drink for purchase and host partner charities. Water stations on course will provide 330 ml bottles; High5 energy stations will supply Zero tabs and energy gels. Recycling bins will be available on course at each water station and bins are provided across the event site. Drop-off stations for unwanted trainers will be located next to the Race Office.
A designated Baggage Store operates using the tear-off strip on the race number. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times. Toilets are provided around the stadium and a zero-tolerance policy applies to public urination. Medical personnel will be available at fixed first aid stations near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish and roaming first aiders in the Event Village.
