Event details
The Half marathon in Leeds takes place on Sunday 10 May 2026 with the start line at AMT Headingley Stadium. The race has been held since 2003 and raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity each year. It often attracts thousands of runners and features significant spectator support along the route. Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive medal, with an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an engraved iTAB.
On-the-day services and rules
The Event Village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Water stations on course provide 330 ml bottles and recycling bins; High5 energy stations supply Zero tabs and energy gels. Baggage can be checked using the tear-off strip on the race number. Allocated toilets are located around the stadium; use of other public areas for urination may lead to disqualification. Medical personnel and fixed first aid stations are positioned near water stations, plus a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish. Pacers sponsored by a partner will carry flags with target finish times. Photographs will be taken on course and results will be posted on the event website after the race. Race numbers will not be posted to addresses outside the UK; overseas participants may collect numbers at the Race Office.
