Leeds Half Marathon - Sunday 09 May 2027
The Leeds Half Marathon is a mass-participation half marathon held in Leeds and described as one of Yorkshire’s biggest events of its kind. The event raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity each year and often attracts thousands of runners. The start line is listed at AMT Headingley Stadium.
Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Race numbers are posted to the registered address 7–10 days before the event; the deadline to change an address is six weeks before the event.
Entry includes chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive medal and the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an engraved iTAB. The Event Village offers food and drink for purchase, and partner charities are located there.
On course there are water stations providing 330ml bottles, Applied Nutrition isotonic drinks and energy gels, and recycling bins at each water station. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be available with flagged target times. Medical cover includes first aid stations near water points, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders. Toilets are provided around the stadium and a zero-tolerance policy applies to urination outside allocated facilities.
Baggage larger than an A4 sheet is not permitted in the stadium; bag searches will take place and a tear-off strip from the race number is used to label bag handles. Clothing left at the start is collected and donated unless checked into baggage. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
