Leeds Half Marathon
The Leeds Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 09 May 2027 with the start line at AMT Headingley Stadium in Leeds. The event raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity each year and often attracts thousands of runners, with notable spectator support along the route.
Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Race numbers are posted to the registered address 7 to 10 days before the event and the deadline to change an address is six weeks before the event.
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive medal, with options to pre-order a finisher t shirt and an iTAB engraving. Park and Ride and shuttle services will operate, including Stourton Park and Ride, Elland Road Park and Ride and a City Centre Shuttle Bus; tickets are available via the First bus channels.
On event day an Event Village will offer food and drink options and host partner charities. Water stations supply 330ml bottled water and Applied Nutrition isotonic drinks and energy gels. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will run with flags showing target finish times. Toilets are provided around the stadium and baggage larger than A4 is not permitted inside the stadium; bag searches will take place and a designated Baggage Store is available. First aid stations are located near water stations and there will be a first aid unit and roaming first aiders near the start and finish.
Sustainability measures include recycling bins at water stations and a JogOn trainer drop off point beside the Race Office. Bone conducting headphones may be worn but volume should be kept low. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
