Event overview
The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon takes place on Sunday 10 May 2026 and starts from AMT Headingley Stadium in Leeds. The route passes through parts of the city’s outer suburbs and surrounding countryside. The event raises funds for the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal and the MND Association, and entrants are encouraged to fundraise for partner charities.
Entrants must be 18 years or older on race day. Race numbers are posted approximately two weeks before the event to UK addresses; overseas participants are asked to collect numbers from the Race Office at the event.
On-course services and facilities
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal, and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt with sublimation print and iTAB engraving. Upgrade options include a VIP Erdinger Runners Lounge and a Yorkshire Double season ticket.
Water stations will provide 330ml bottles and recycling bins; High5 energy stations will supply Zero tabs and energy gels. Medical cover includes fixed first aid stations near water points, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start/finish, and roaming first aiders. Additional on-site facilities include baggage drop, toilets around the stadium and on course, pacers with flagged finish times, event photography, and an Event Village with food and drink outlets.
