Event overview
The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon is a full marathon held in Leeds on Sunday 10 May 2026. The race starts at AMT Headingley Stadium and follows a route that passes through parts of the city, scenic countryside and outer suburbs. The event supports the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal and the MND Association; entrants may also raise money for other partner charities. Entrants must be 18 years or older on the event day.
On the day and practical information
Included for participants are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal and the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt with sublimation print and iTAB engraving. Race numbers are posted approximately two weeks before the event; address changes can be made up to six weeks before the race. Race numbers are not posted to non-UK postal addresses and can instead be collected from the Race Office on event weekend.
On-course provision includes 330 ml water bottles at water stations and High5 energy stations offering Zero tabs and energy gels. Medical teams and first aid stations are located at regular intervals, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish. Baggage is stored in a designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip on the race number. Pacers with finish-time flags will be available. Event Village facilities include food and drink vendors, charity stands, toilets and cycle racks at the stadium.
