Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon

Event overview

The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon is a marathon event taking place on Sunday 10 May 2026, with the start line at AMT Headingley Stadium. The event route runs through parts of Leeds, including some countryside and outer suburbs. The event supports the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal and the MND Association, and entrants are encouraged to raise funds for a charity of their choice or one of the partner charities. Entrants must be 18 years or older on the event day.

On the day and logistics

Race numbers are posted approximately two weeks before the event; address changes can be made up to six weeks before the event. Race numbers will not be posted to addresses outside the UK; overseas entrants may collect numbers at the Race Office on event weekend. The event village will offer food and drink for purchase and host partner charities. Baggage drop is available using the tear-off strip on the race number.

Chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal, and the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt with sublimation print and iTAB are included. Water stations will provide 330 ml bottles and recycling bins; High5 energy stations will supply Zero tabs and gels. Pacers with finish-time flags will be on course. Toilets will be provided on course and in the stadium; urinating outside facilities may lead to disqualification. Medical teams, fixed first aid stations and a recovery area will be available near the start and finish. Event photos will be taken by MarathonPhotos and results will be published after the event. Sustainability measures include recycling bins and trainer drop-off stations via JogOn. Bone-conducting headphones are permitted at low volume.
