Erie Playhouse Ghostlight Halloween 5K
The Erie Playhouse Ghostlight Halloween 5K is an inaugural festive 5K run/walk hosted by the Erie Playhouse in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania on October 31, 2026. The course runs through downtown Erie and features music provided by Millennium Sound and professional timing from Big White Trailer.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Costume prizes are offered in these categories: Best Couple, Best Group (3 or more), Best Kid Costume (Under 18), Best Adult (18 and Up), and Best in Show.
Registration opens August 5, 2026. Published registration tiers and fees are: Early Bird August 5 – August 31 35 USD Standard September 1 – September 30 40 USD Final October 1 – October 31 45 USD RunSignup processing fees apply at checkout.
All registered participants receive an official race shirt and swag bag, course photos, post-event refreshments, and admission to the vendor fair. T shirt sizes are listed as TBD. Registrations submitted by October 17 are guaranteed a shirt; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt and will not receive a price adjustment for missing the shirt deadline.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top finishers in age groups including 14 and Under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; and 70 and Over.
