Flannels and Flapjacks
Flannels and Flapjacks takes place on 10/24/2026 in Wainer and Inspiration Parks, Edinboro, PA. The event includes a trail 5K and a short fun run for children, held within the parks at 11800 Edinboro Rd.
- 3.1 Miles 5K trail race
- 0.5 Miles Kids Fun Run
The 5K is a trail route with rocks, roots and steep ups and downs; it is not a typical road 5K. The 5K offers overall and age group awards. The kids run is free to enter but does not include prizes.
Registration details include a fee of $30.00 for the 5K; the kids run has no registration fee. Registration opens 8/13/2026 and closes 10/23/2026. Each paid registrant receives three pancakes as part of the registration. Additional stacks of pancakes are available for purchase at $5.00 per additional person. Water, hot cocoa and coffee will be available at the event.
Any money raised will go to the Washington Township Park and Recreation Committee to be used for township park improvements. Participants are encouraged to wear flannel or flannel patterned clothing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
