Elkhart City Festival 5k and Kids Run
Elkhart City Festival 5k and Kids Run takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026 in Elkhart, Iowa at Elkhart City Hall.
Event distances include:

- 1 Mile Kids Run
Age eligibility and registration fees are separate for each distance. The 5k is for ages 13 and older; the kids run is for ages 12 and under. Registration pricing is tiered by date: the 5k fee is $20 through May 31, 2026 and $25 through June 19, 2026. The kids run fee is $15 through May 31, 2026 and $20 through June 19, 2026. In-person registration is available on race day.
Day-of check-in and in-person registration are provided prior to the event. All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to the Elkhart City Festival.
Awards are given by age division. Age divisions for awards include 12 and under; 13 to 18 years; 19 to 35 years; 35 to 49 years; and 50 years and older. Medals and prizes will be presented to the top three men and the top three women in each age division, and to top boys and girls in the kids run.
