2026 DSM World Refugee Day 5K - Des Moines
The event on 06/20/2026 is a community 5K race held in Des Moines at Polk County River Place, 2309 Euclid Avenue. The race route begins and ends at River Place. Parking is available in the lot outside Polk County River Place.
The race is offered at no registration fee. Registration opens on 05/07/2026 and closes on 06/19/2026. All participants are invited to remain for the cultural celebration that follows the race.
The cultural celebration includes performing artists, food samples, community partner informational booths, children's crafts and activities, music, and other community-oriented offerings.
