Trestle Hustle
The 17th Annual Trestle Hustle took place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, on the High Trestle Trail in Madrid. The event included in-person and virtual participation, with 208 athletes registered across multiple race options.

Participants came from across Iowa as well as from Illinois and Missouri. The event functioned as the kickoff to High Trestle Fest, a community celebration along the High Trestle Trail. Race day featured favorable weather and a scenic trail route.
Local organizations supported logistics and safety, including the county sheriff's department, the BCH ambulance service, and the BCH engineering department. Volunteers handled setup, check-in, route support, aid stations, medals, and cleanup. Post-race food and beverages were provided by local vendors, and bottled drinks were donated by a beverage company. Event photographers documented race-day moments.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Boone County Hospital Foundation, providing resources for equipment, programs, and services for Boone County Hospital that otherwise would not be available.
