Elan Valley 10 Mile Road Race - 22 November 2025
The event is a 10 mile road race taking place at Elan Valley Visitor Centre, Rhayader, Powys LD6 5HP on 22 November 2025. The course is an undulating loop of Elan Valley and the surrounding area. There are no road closures. The race has a 3 hour cut off and there will be no early start. The race is unsuitable for wheelchair athletes.
Entry, timing and facilities
Entries are limited to 200 places. All participants must be at least 17 years old on race day. Entry fees are £18 for Welsh Athletics affiliated runners and £20 for non-affiliated runners; members of Rhayader Running Club have an additional £3 discount. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to sign-ups. Once entered there are no cancellations or deferrals; place transfers are allowed via the entry system before 16 November 2025. A UKA race licence has been applied for.
The event uses chip timing and runners collect race numbers and timing chips at registration. All runners will receive a race memento. Registration and race headquarters are at Elan Valley Visitor Centre, about a five minute walk to the start. Parking, a cafe and toilet facilities are available at the Visitor Centre; the car park fills quickly. Organiser: Rhayader Running Club.
