Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail Races
The Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail Races take place in the Cambrian Mountains, offering participants a variety of routes through mountain terrain. The event features multiple distances to accommodate different experience levels, and all courses are fully signed and waymarked.
The available distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 2.6 miles (Juniors aged 12-16)
- 1.5 miles (Juniors aged 7-11)
- 0.5 mile (Under 7s, must be accompanied)
The Half Marathon course includes two feed stations, while the 10 km route features one. Due to the mountain environment and the potential for adverse weather conditions, all runners are required to carry a specific level of mandatory kit for safety. There are no cut-off times for the races.
The event village provides a space for participants and spectators with hot and cold food options, specialty coffee, and healthy meal choices. The race is organized by Aberystwyth Athletic Club as a not-for-profit event that supports local charities.
