Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail Races
The Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail races take place in the Cambrian Mountains on 20 March 2027. The 10th anniversary edition offers a choice of distances on varied trail terrain and is organised by Aberystwyth Athletic Club.
Available distances
- 25 km Half Ultra
- 10 km
- Under 7s 0.5 mile; must be accompanied by an adult
- Ages 7 to 11 1.5 miles
- Ages 12 to 16 2.6 miles
Routes are fully signed and waymarked, with GPX files available as backup. The 25 km race has two feed stations and the 10 km race has one. There is no cut off time for the main races.
The event is run not for profit and supports local charities. Because the courses are in mountainous terrain with unpredictable conditions, organisers require a basic set of mandatory kit for safety; details are posted on the event Facebook page. Transfers are available only while entries are open, that is until 9pm on Wednesday 10 March 2027, and race deferrals are not possible.
The event village is described as family friendly with a local non corporate atmosphere. As part of registration, participants may purchase event clothing such as tees, hoodies, and beanies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
