Event details
The Nant Yr Arian Silver Trail Races take place on 14 March 2026 at Nant Yr Arian in the Cambrian Mountains. The event is organised by Aberystwyth Athletic Club and is run as a not-for-profit that supports local charities. Entries open on 22 March 2025 and close on 4 March 2026. Transfers are possible only while entries are open and race deferrals are not available.
Race formats and facilities
Trail races are offered over road-free, waymarked routes with GPX files available as a backup. The event requires a basic level of mandatory kit because routes run in unpredictable mountain conditions. The half marathon has two feed stations and the 10 km has one. The event village provides hot and cold food, speciality coffee, and healthy options. Race merchandise such as hoodies and T-shirts is available to purchase as part of registration.
