Rhayader Round the Lakes takes place on Saturday 7 March 2026 in Rhayader, Powys, set in the Elan Valley. The event includes road races over the following distances:
- 30 km: road race through the Elan Valley; higher sections are exposed to the weather
- 10 km: out-and-back road route from Rhayader into the Elan Valley
Both routes run on open roads.
Logistics and rules
Race numbers and timing chips can be collected from Rhayader Leisure Centre on the Friday before the race (evening) or on race day (morning). The cut-off date for transfers and entries is 12 noon on Friday 13 February 2026. There are no refunds and no deferrals. A race licence has been applied for. The races are organised by volunteers and have been based in Rhayader for over 40 years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
