Rhayader Round the Lakes 2026

Rhayader Round the Lakes takes place on Saturday 7 March 2026 in Rhayader, Powys, with course access in the Elan Valley (LD6 5BU). The event offers two road race distances:

30 km: road race through the Elan Valley, with higher sections that are exposed to the weather.
10 km: route out to the Elan Valley and back to Rhayader.

The 30 km entry fee is listed as £30 and the 10 km fee as £15. Roads will remain open during both races. The races have been based in Rhayader for over 40 years and are organised by volunteers. A race licence has been applied for.

Entry, transfers and race day information

Entries and transfers close on 13 February 2026. There are no refunds and no deferrals. Race numbers and timing chips can be collected from Rhayader Leisure Centre on the day before the race (Friday 6 March) or on race day. The organising body is Rhayader Round the Lakes Races.
