About the race
Rhayader Round The Lakes 2027 comprises two road races based in Rhayader, Powys, set in the Elan Valley. The event has been held for over 40 years and is organised by volunteers. The longer Round the Lakes course runs through the Elan Valley countryside, is exposed to the weather on higher sections, and has a cut off time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Roads remain open during both races. The 10km route goes out to the Elan Valley and returns to the town and has no cut off time. Key entry and event policies include a final entries date of Friday 12 February 2027, no refunds, and no deferrals.
The organiser has applied for a race licence. Race numbers and timing chips may be collected at Rhayader Leisure Centre on Friday 5 March in the evening or on race day during the morning collection window.
