Event overview

The HOWUM 2026 is a 30-mile ultra marathon on 2 May 2026 that starts and finishes at Dol Lys Camp Ground in Llanidloes. The route passes Clywedog Reservoir and the source of the River Severn. Course and logistics

There are 3 fully manned and stocked checkpoints along the route. Mandatory kit items include appropriate footwear, a 1-litre water carrier, a mobile phone, a head lamp or other light source, a foil blanket, a waterproof jacket and a rucksack.
