Event overview

Reservoir Roundabout is scheduled for 10 January 2026 at Elan Valley Visitor Centre, Elan Valley, LD6 5HP. It is an annual walking or running challenge held on open upland terrain in and around the Elan and Claerwen Valleys. The routes are approximately 20 miles and 12 miles. Parts of the route are waymarked but map reading skills are required. A confirmed route map and GPX file will be emailed to competitors in the week before the event. The advertised distances are approximate and the organisers may change the route because of forestry, farming or construction. Some sections cross private farms; gates must be left as found.

Entry, fees and requirements

Entries open 6 October 2025 and close 4 January 2026. Entry fee is £20. No entries will be accepted on the day. The visitor centre car park charges £3.
