Sunrise Series!
The Sunrise Series runs from May 30 to July 18, 2026, in El Paso, Texas (111 W Mills, 79901). The series comprises four live 5k races across El Paso and parallel virtual events. Scheduled live dates are May 30, June 13, June 27 and July 18, 2026; specific start locations for each date will be announced.
Participants in live and virtual events receive finisher medals, a custom Sunrise Series medal for registered participants and custom medal add-ons for each completed event. Completing all four live events awards the Sunrise Series Medal. Each live event is capped at 550 runners and giveaways are limited and guaranteed only to the first 550 registered participants for each event. For events with a shirt giveaway, shirt or size is not guaranteed for registrations after May 1, 2026.
Live events include age group awards for the top three finishers in each age group (10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & over). There are no overall awards at individual events; overall fastest males and females of the series and largest team awards will be presented at the series finale. Virtual events do not receive awards.
Additional event features include Strava segments, a post-race runner's party with paletas, water, vendors and music, a free photo booth at each event, and packet pickup on the Thursday and Friday before each scheduled event. There is no race day packet pickup; participants should contact the race director for pickup arrangements. Registration closes when an event sells out or at 7pm the Friday before each event.
