El Paso Matters 9.15K and Texas Tech Health El Paso One Mile Family Fun Walk
This event on 19 September 2026 is held at Cleveland Square in El Paso (510 N. Santa Fe St.). It combines a 9.15K race and a 1 Mile family fun walk.

Race proceeds benefit El Paso Matters, a local non-profit news organization. Registration is tiered by date: $40 through 6/30, $45 through 8/31, and $50 through 9/18. The race is limited to 1000 registrants and registration will be capped. There is no refund policy.
A team discount applies for groups of 10 or more. The first nine team members register at the regular price and receive a $5 refund once the 10th team member registers; members registering from the 10th onward pay the discounted price. A trophy will be awarded to the largest team.
Packet pickup takes place at Up and Running, 3233 N Mesa Ste 205, on Thursday 9/17 from 2 to 6 pm and Friday 9/18 from 11 am to 6 pm. There is no race day registration or packet pickup.
Registered participants who sign up by 8/31/26 are guaranteed a short sleeve t-shirt. All finishers will receive a commemorative El Paso Matters medal. Trophies go to the top three male and female finishers in the 9.15K and age group awards are given for 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.
