Chile Pepper Challenge Charity Ride and 5K Walk/Run
The El Paso Bicycle Club hosts a combined charity cycling event and 5K walk and run at Grace Gardens in El Paso, Texas on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Rides take place across the Upper and Mesilla Valleys and are fully supported with rest stops, route markings, and SAG vehicles. Rest stop counts vary by route.
Registration is open through September with no same day registration. Entry fees are listed per distance. Registrations include a participant number, a finisher medal, post-ride food and beverage, and t-shirts for the first 500 registrants.
The event offers multiple route options and a family ride alongside a separate 5K walk and run. Age groups are defined for the 5K for participants 14 and under through 70 to 79. Approximate rest stop distribution is provided for each ride distance.
