This community event is scheduled for 9/26/2026 at UMC Northeast Clinic, 9839 Kenworthy St., El Paso, TX 79924. It offers multiple short-distance running and walking options and supports breast cancer awareness through the Sobreviviendo el cancer fund.
Event distances include:
- 5K: 3.1 miles, competitive run with trophies and age-group awards.
- 1 Mile Family Walk / Run: family-oriented one-mile route.
- Kids dash: short youth race.
Registrations and fees are stated as follows: Kids dash registration fee is $15. Regular price for the 5K and 1-mile events is $25 through 9/24, with a late registration fee of $30 on 9/25. No race day registration is permitted. Teams of 10 receive a $5 discount; the first nine team members receive a $5 refund when the 10th person registers, and each additional member from the 10th onward pays the discounted rate.
Packet pick up is at Up and Running, 3233 N Mesa Ste 205, on 9/25 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Race day packet pick up is available at UMC Northeast Clinic.
Registrants receive a short sleeve technical t-shirt. The event includes finisher medals this year, trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K, age-group awards (9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over), and a largest team trophy.
