Event overview
The Michelob Ultra El Paso event takes place Saturday February 21 to Sunday February 22, 2026 in Downtown El Paso, TX. The program includes the following in-person and virtual races:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Dash
The marathon and half marathon start and finish at San Jacinto Plaza. The marathon is a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon and the Abbott WMM MTT Age Group Marathon World Championships. All in-person and virtual finishers for the marathon, half marathon, and 5K receive a finisher medal.
Registration and logistics
Packet pick-up for live and virtual racers is at the Sarah Farms Health & Fitness Expo, El Paso Convention Center, One Civic Center Plaza, on Saturday February 21, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Kids Dash packets are available at the Expo from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Race packets cannot be picked up on race day and must be collected in person with ID and confirmation. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after December 1, 2025.
Entry fees and age eligibility (in-person): Marathon $130 (ages 18-100); Half Marathon $110 (ages 12-100); 5K $50 (ages 8-100); Kids Dash $10 (ages 1-11). Virtual entries have separate fees; virtual packets can be mailed for an additional $10 and will begin mailing after February 24, 2026. The marathon has a 6 hour course time limit and course cut-offs are enforced. Baby joggers, strollers, and pets are not allowed on the race courses. Refunds, rollovers, and transfers of registration fees are not offered. Names registered by January 1, 2026 will be displayed on the event “Runners Wall.” Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
