Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon and associated races
The event takes place in Downtown El Paso on February 21 to February 22, 2026 and includes multiple live and virtual distances: the Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon, the Raiz Federal Credit Union Half Marathon, the Spine & Rehab Specialists 5K Run/Walk, the CareFree Homes Kid's Dash, and virtual versions of the marathon, half marathon, 5K and kids dash. The marathon and other races finish in Downtown with start and finish at San Jacinto Plaza.
The Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon serves as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon and the Abbott WMM MTT Age Group Championship marathons. The course finishes on a net decline, a feature noted for its effect on finish times. A six hour time limit is in force for the marathon course and course cut offs will be enforced; participants who do not meet cut off requirements may be removed from course and transported to the finish area.
Packet pick up is handled at the Sarah Farms Health & Fitness Expo at the El Paso Convention Center on the day before the races; no race day packet pick up will be available. Virtual packets can be mailed for an additional fee and virtual participants may post times during the published submission window. Organizers state that refunds, rollovers, and transfers of registration fees are not offered.
Age eligibility is listed for each event and all live and virtual finishers receive a finisher medal. Names registered by January 1, 2026 may be included on a public Runners Wall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
