EE Exceptional Superhero 5K
The EE Exceptional Superhero 5K is a Halloween-themed fundraising running event in Cape Coral, Florida. It includes a timed 5K and a not timed 1-mile family fun run called the Boo Run & Treat Trail. The event raises funds to host Cape Coral Night to Shine events and to expand the Grace Church Exceptional Entrepreneurs program, and highlights needs of Lee County residents with special needs as they age out of the school system.

The event features multiple costume contests (superhero, family-friendly non-scary, pet), a stroller decoration contest, candy stations along the route, games, and family activities after the race. Dogs and strollers are allowed but must start at the back of the field; dogs must be leashed and up to date on vaccinations. Race shirts are included with registration and are guaranteed for participants registered by October 5, 2026.
Awards include Overall Male and Overall Female winners and age group awards (1st, 2nd, 3rd) across standard age brackets from 9 and under through 80 plus. Chip timing is provided by Beach Bum Timing. Packet pickup is available at Grace Church lobby area, 13 SE 21st Place, Cape Coral, FL, including a pickup option prior to race day and on race morning. No refunds are offered; organizers recommend considering race insurance.
