EE Exceptional Superhero 5K
The EE Exceptional Superhero 5K is a timed, Halloween themed 3.1 mile race and fun run in Cape Coral that raises funds for Cape Coral Night to Shine events and to expand the Grace Church Exceptional Entrepreneurs program. The event highlights needs of Lee County residents with special needs as they transition out of the school system.
The event features multiple costume contests including a superhero contest, a family friendly non-scary Halloween contest, a pet costume contest, and a stroller decoration contest. Candy stations are located along the race route and games and family activities take place after the race. Dogs and strollers are allowed but must start at the back for safety; dogs must be leashed and up to date on vaccinations.
Race shirts are included with registration and are guaranteed for participants registered by October 5, 2026. There are no refunds once registered; the organizer recommends considering race insurance to protect registration if a participant cannot attend. Chip timing is provided by Beach Bum Timing.
Packet pickup is scheduled for October 29, 2026 at the Grace Church lobby area, 13 SE 21st Place, Cape Coral, FL 33990, with an additional packet pickup on race morning. Race day registration is available and accepts credit card or Apple Pay; cash is not accepted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
