Event overview
The EE Exceptional Superhero 5K is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Grace Church Cape Coral Campus (13 SE 21st Pl, Cape Coral, FL 33990). The event raises funds for the Grace Church Exceptional Entrepreneurs program, which provides adults with special needs business, team-building, life, and social skills through hands-on activities such as ordering supplies, creating products, marketing, and sales. Chip timing is provided by Beach Bum Timing.
Logistics and rules
Registration price is $30 (reduced to $15 for ages 0-17); the price increases after November 30, 2025. Packet pickup is available Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Grace Church lobby and on race morning from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. Race day registration is open 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM; cash is not accepted. Race shirts are dri-fit and gender specific; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations made after January 5, 2026. There are no refunds after registration; race insurance is available. Dogs and strollers are permitted but must start at the back; dogs must be leashed and current on vaccinations. Awards are presented to male and female finishers in overall and age-based categories, including Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+), Veterans (70+), Overall Youth (14 and under), and age-group top-three placements through 80+.
