Event overview

The Education Empowerment 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Riverside Park, 3280 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach, FL 32963. This is the fourth annual edition. The race offers individual and team entries and benefits three nonprofit organizations: educaccess.org, seekthelamb.com, and crossovermission.com. Race management and timing services are provided by Running Zone Race Management, Inc.

5K Individual, entry fee $30
5K Team, entry fee $25

Registration opens January 15, 2026. Early packet pickup and registration are available on Friday, March 27 at Chelsea’s Gourmet (3201 Cardinal Drive, Vero Beach). Late registration and packet pickup occur at Riverside Park on race day.

Awards and amenities

Awards include top three overall male and female finishers, top masters (age 40+) male and female, and top male and female in each age group: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The fastest team award requires a co-ed team with a minimum of four members. Race amenities listed are event T-shirts (size guaranteed if registered by March 1, then as available) and post-race food and beverages. A course map is provided by the organizer.
