Eat My Crust 5K Run/Walk
Eat My Crust is a community 5K event held in Viera, Florida, benefiting the Viera High School Athletic Department and Academics and Space Coast Early Steps. The event marks its 15th year and offers both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option that can be completed whenever and wherever the participant chooses.
The event includes finisher medals, a post-race outdoor pizza and breakfast, and numerous prize opportunities. There is a free Lil’ Pepperoni Run for children aged 8 and under, with prizes for participants. A $100 course record award is offered for an outstanding 5K time on the advertised route that starts at Viera High School and follows the established 5K course.
Registration pricing varies by category: adult, student, and Space Coast Runners member rates are listed, with higher fees for late and race day registration and an additional charge for shipping virtual race items. Organizers state the event is rain or shine and that refunds are not available.
Packet pickup is available at Running Zone in Melbourne on the days before the event with published hours. Awards cover top overall finishers, masters and age-based categories, a high school finisher prize, team awards, a Pizza Delivery Challenge for participants who carry a pizza box during the race, and a Fast Track award for the fastest split on a designated track portion.
