Eat My Crust 5K Run/Walk
The Eat My Crust 5K Run/Walk is held in Viera, Florida, near 6103 Stadium Parkway. The event features an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option. Proceeds benefit the Viera High School Athletic Department and the Early Steps program of Brevard County.
This edition is the 14th annual event. Packet pickup is scheduled at Running Zone in Melbourne on May 1 and May 2. Pre-registration guarantees a super soft race shirt. Virtual entries are available and shipping for virtual race items carries an additional $5 fee. Early registration ends on 4/19/26. Published entry fees include adults $32, students $28, and Space Coast Runner members $27; later registrations and race day fees are higher. The event is held rain or shine and refunds are not issued.
The course begins at Viera High School and is a USATF certified 5K route, listed as FL24008JK. Finishers receive themed medals and there is a post-race pizza and breakfast outdoor gathering. A free Lil Pepperoni Run for children aged 8 and under offers ribbons.
Awards cover overall and age group places, masters and grand masters categories, top high school finisher, team awards with a minimum team size, a Pizza Delivery Challenge in which participants carry a pizza box for the full distance, and a Fast Track Award for the fastest track split.
