Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot 5k

This road race takes place on Thanksgiving Day in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The course goes through the residential Cocoa Isles neighborhood. It starts and finishes at the Bailiwick Mall, just north of Minutemen Causeway on Brevard Avenue.

All participants in the 5k run/walk receive a finisher medal. There is also a free, non-competitive Little Gobbler Fun Run.

There is no registration on the day of the race. Registration must be completed online or at packet pickup before Wednesday, November 25, at 6 PM. Packet pickup is available at the Cocoa Beach Recreation Center on several days before the event, or at the Bailiwick Mall on race morning from 6:30 to 7:45 AM.

A "Turkey Team" category is available for teams of 2 to 6 participants. These teams must carry a provided 12 lb turkey together throughout the entire course and finish together. Teams must pre-register by the preceding Sunday.

Participants receive a short-sleeve shirt on a first-come, first-served basis at packet pickup. Other amenities include post-race refreshments and door prizes.

Participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food or toiletry item for donation to a local food pantry.

Race Details

Parking is available at several nearby locations, including churches and area lots. The Cocoa Beach Parking Garage and beach lots are also available for a fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
